Once again a house of worship has been attacked in a heinous act of anti-Semitism. One woman was killed and three others were injured in an attack on a Chabad synagogue in Poway, California This atrocious act occurred six months to the day after the murderous attack on Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh. Attacks on religious institutions have taken place throughout the world including churches in Louisiana and in Sri Lanka and mosques in New Zealand.
Houses of worship are sanctuaries of faith and no one should fear practicing their religion. We mourn the loss of life and pray for a speedy recovery for the injured. We as a community stand together against hate.
Join us as we pray for the victims of this most recent attack as part of our
Yom HaShoah commemoration on Thursday, May 2 at 6 PM.
